Beyond cities, villages, and metropolises, beyond the bleak and common place- a world hidden from the eyes of human. At the end of industrial civilisation and beyond the reach of popular culture, an empire where the creations and the creatorplay their own secret games. A land of cerulean blue lakes and smoke swathed rocky out crops. Here vapoury mist rises from looming iceberg banked at the edge of moss green rivers. Rugged crags are touched by tongues of fire and there seems to be no one around.
Supravat Bhaduri's solo exhibition of a dozen works by acrylic on canvas is a vison of the primordial. It is as well a representation of a planet that has freed itself from the shackles of mankind.
